The name

Why BeeKin Time?

Three small words, and we mean all three. Here's what each one is doing in there.

Bee

The hive does it together

Our mascot is a worker bee, and that isn't an accident. A hive is about the most family-minded thing in nature. It only works because everyone, big and small, does their small part, and what they make together is sweeter than any one of them could manage alone.

That's the whole idea. Tap a chore done, earn a little honey, watch the hive grow. The work is shared, and so is the reward for it.

Kin

Everyone who shows up

Kin means family. Not just parents and kids, but everyone in your kids' circle: the grandparent who comes on Wednesdays, the nanny who has the Tuesday mornings, the older sibling who covers bedtime.

BeeKin is built so all of them can open the same picture of how your home runs, and act on it, without texting you to double-check. Kin is everyone who shows up for your kids, and they all belong in the hive.

Time

The honest one

And time? We'll be honest with you. “BeeKin” on its own was spoken for just about everywhere we looked, and beekintime.com was sitting right there, free. So “time” is the word that got us a domain. We're not going to pretend otherwise.

The funny thing is, the more we said it, the more it fit. Because the thing a calm, shared chore system actually gives a family back is time. Less of it spent arguing about whose turn it is. Less spent re-explaining the rules to the next grown-up. Less spent being the only person who knows what the day needs.

That's time you get to spend on the good parts instead.

Bee, kin, time

A hive, a family, and the hours a calmer home gives you back. We didn't plan for it to line up that neatly. We're just glad it did.
