The fine print, kept plain
Terms of Service
Last updated May 20, 2026
These terms cover how you and ChoreoTime work together when you use the Choreo app and this website. We've kept them in plain language on purpose. By using Choreo, you're agreeing to them.
What Choreo is
Choreo is a family chore tracker for Apple devices, made by ChoreoTime. It helps a family set up chores and rewards, and helps kids complete them and earn points. These terms cover both the Choreo app and the choreotime.com website.
Using Choreo
You need to be an adult to set up a family in Choreo. You're responsible for your family's use of Choreo and for the devices you use it on. Please use Choreo lawfully, and don't try to disrupt it, misuse it, or gain improper access to it.
Your family's content
The chores, names, photos, and other details you put into Choreo are yours. They're encrypted on your device and synced through Apple's CloudKit, and you give Choreo permission to use them only to make the app work across your family's devices. You're responsible for the content you add and for having the right to add it.
The free trial
Choreo is free to download and free to use for the first 14 days, with the full app available during that time. When the trial ends, a Choreo Plus subscription is needed to keep using Choreo.
Choreo Plus subscriptions
Choreo Plus is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly. It's sold and managed only through the App Store. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel it.
Billing, renewal, and cancellation
Apple handles billing, renewal, refunds, and cancellation for Choreo Plus under Apple's own terms. Manage your subscription in your device Settings under your Apple ID, or in the App Store on a Mac. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Choreo Plus through the close of the period you've already paid for.
Prices are shown in US dollars and may not include tax, which Apple adds at checkout. We may change Choreo Plus pricing in the future; any change applies to future billing periods, never the one you're already in.
Fair use
Please don't misuse Choreo. That means no unlawful use, no attempts to disrupt or gain improper access to the service, and no use of Choreo to harm or harass others. We may suspend or end access that does these things.
Our brand and app
The Choreo name, the bee mascot, the app, and this website belong to ChoreoTime. These terms don't give you any right to them beyond using Choreo as intended.
Availability and disclaimers
Choreo is provided as is. We work to keep it running well, but we can't promise it will always be available or completely error-free, and syncing depends on Apple's iCloud, which is outside our control.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, ChoreoTime makes no warranties beyond those the law requires, and our liability for any claim relating to Choreo is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to Choreo and to these terms
We may change, pause, or discontinue parts of Choreo. If we discontinue a paid plan, we'll handle any active subscriptions fairly.
We may also update these terms as Choreo grows. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Choreo after a change, you're accepting the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [governing jurisdiction to be confirmed], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
