What's new in Choreo
Every shipped update, newest first. We log them here so it's easy to see what we've been working on.
- 2.22.73
Sync survives shared devices
Kids hand a parent's iPhone back. A parent borrows a kid's iPad to approve a chore. Every profile switch now flushes pending changes to iCloud before the next person takes over and pulls fresh state right after. The shared-device sync race that could leave an approval stranded is closed.
- 2.22.72
A calmer Danger Zone
The destructive actions in Settings now hide behind a three-tap reveal. The first tap surfaces a verbal warning, the second reveals Reset family data, the third reveals Delete my family account. After a successful delete, the device returns to the login screen with a one-time apology and a feedback prompt.
- Reset family data wipes the counters but keeps every family member's name, role, and PIN.
- Delete my family account nukes every record everywhere and verifies the cloud is empty before signing out.
- Recoverable actions (Reset local cache, Leave this family) moved into a separate Troubleshooting section.
- 2.22.70
I did it!
The full-screen visual-mode celebration that fires when a pre-reader finishes a chore now reads I did it! in a slightly bigger, warmer voice. Same dopamine, kinder tone.
- 2.22.69
A handful of usability fixes from Joseph's notes
Several small things that add up to a calmer Today.
- Done-today drawer opens by default every visit, not collapsed.
- Every done chore card has a small Undo button next to the green seal so a misclick is one tap from reversed.
- Parent dashboard labels the not-done icon strip and the day-streak chip so they read at a glance.
- Kid badge celebrations stay on the kid's own screen, not the parent's, when the parent approves remotely.
- Parents earn badges and a streak for doing their own chores, surfaced on the Your day card.
- The early chores ladder thinned out so a kid isn't earning three badges by their fifth completion.
- Up-for-grabs chores now read Did it! instead of Claim.
- 2.22.67
Multi-device sync, sharper tiebreaks
A few-seconds clock skew between two phones could cause a fresh edit on one to lose to a slightly older state on the other. The merge code now leans on iCloud's own server-stamped timestamp for the comparison, so the freshest change wins no matter which clock is ahead.
- 2.22.62
A simpler world for pre-readers
Visual-mode kids (the picture-first setting) now see just two tabs, Today and Rewards, with bigger chore cards built around a single picture and a single big button. Finishing a chore plays a full-screen I did it celebration with confetti.
Older builds aren't listed here. Curious what's coming next? The Buzz is where we write about it as we go.
